Mita PME-E Series
Single and double cell units with axial fans.
The body is built with modular fiberglass sandwich panels combined together by means of an after-fabrication hot-dip galvanized steel structure; the nuts and bolts used are in AISI 304 steel; the water collection basin (optional) is made of fiberglass reinforced polyester resin. The filling material for the heat exchanger and condensate separator is PVC, as for the water distributor and the drain and overflow connections. The full cone nozzles are made of polypropylene, and are inoccludible. The splash guards are made of a fiberglass reinforced polyester resin extrusion. There are 16 models available for a potential from about 580 to 2600 kW (indicative potential reported for a thermal gradient of 5 °C). TOWER BODY realized through a supporting structure in sections of after-fabrication hot-dip galvanized steel, with lateral reinforcement consisting of sandwich panels of 22 mm thickness in fiberglass reinforced polyester resin and covered with an isophthalic anti-UV ray protective gel coat. The seal between the supporting structure and the panels is guaranteed by a special bituminous sealing gasket. There are also condensate separating panels housed in the superior part of the body, with respective supports in hot-dip galvanized steel. The tower body is also equipped with a series of one or two manholes consisting of doors of generous dimensions in polyester resin and a fastening frame in hot-dip galvanized steel, to ensure the inspection of and access to the interior of the tower. PERIMETER FRAME WITH FILLING MATERIAL SUPPORT made of high-thickness after-fabrication hot-dip galvanized steel, placed at the base of the tower body and fixed to it to render the entire structure more rigid. SUPERIOR COVER entirely made of fiberglass reinforced polyester resin and covered with an isophthalic anti-UV ray protective gel coat. Equipped with internal reinforcements, the cover includes the woven-wire mouthpiece for the air inspired by the axial fan it contains, while the AISI 304 stainless steel safety protection screen is fixed on its top. FILLING MATERIAL (also for heat exchange), K 19 type, composed of panels consisting of auto-extinguishing and inputrescible PVC sheets, thermoformed under vacuum and then attached together. The filling materials thus realized gives the shape and dimensions both to optimize the efficiency of the air/water contact and the resulting heat exchange process. WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM made with unified PN 10 pipes and fittings in PVC, and with polypropylene tangential spray nozzles, obtained through injection molding on exclusive proprietary MITA dies. A group including a manometer for checking the entrance water pressure and a purge valve are supplied with the water distribution system. CONDENSATE SEPARATOR that is double-fold, composed of panels consisting of auto-extinguishing and inputrescible PVC sheets, thermoformed under vacuum and then attached together.
